The Team That Started the Herd
The Mooselax story began with one special group: the 2026 team.
Many of these players joined Moose in kindergarten and remained together through ninth grade. They grew up wearing Moose, learning the game, building lifelong friendships and helping establish the culture that continues to guide our program today.
Players First. Always.
When the team reached high school, we knew their next step required greater recruiting exposure and new opportunities to compete. Mooselax partnered with Legacy Lacrosse to form Legacy East Moose, bringing two programs together around one shared priority: doing what was best for the players.
That decision reflected what Moose has always believed. Development is not about holding onto players. It is about preparing them for what comes next.
From Their First Ground Ball to the Next Level
During their senior year, members of this original Herd earned major individual honors, including All-American recognition, All-County selections and other distinguished achievements. Many also committed to continue their academic and lacrosse careers at colleges throughout the country.
Those honors deserve to be celebrated, but they represent only part of the story.
The real accomplishment is the journey: years of practices, early mornings, difficult losses, earned opportunities and teammates growing up together.
They Blazed the Trail
The 2026 team showed every younger Moose player what the development pathway can become.
They were the first Herd.
They helped build the standard.
They will always be Moose.
Player stories, honors and college commitments are coming soon.
