Mooselax does not sell, rent or trade personal information belonging to players, parents or guardians.

We also do not sell or share children's personal information for behavioral advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

Mooselax may disclose information only as reasonably necessary for legitimate program, safety, administrative or legal purposes.

Information may be shared with:

Authorized Mooselax Personnel

Coaches, directors, team administrators and authorized volunteers may receive information necessary to administer a player's team or program. Access should be limited to information relevant to the individual's responsibilities.

Service Providers

We may use trusted companies to provide registration, payments, scheduling, communications, website hosting, email, team management, apparel, insurance, technology or other services.

These providers may access information only as necessary to perform services for Mooselax and are expected to handle information in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.

Mooselax currently uses LeagueApps for certain registration, payment and communication functions. LeagueApps maintains its own privacy policies:

Legal, Safety and Compliance Purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with a law, subpoena, court order or government request;
  • Protect the health or safety of a player or another person;
  • Investigate fraud, misconduct or a security incident;
  • Enforce our agreements and policies; or
  • Protect the rights, property or safety of Mooselax, our participants or others.

Organizational Transactions

If Mooselax is reorganized, merged, sold or transfers part of its operations, relevant records may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and continued protection under this Privacy Policy or a substantially equivalent policy.

6. Children's Privacy

Mooselax offers programs for children, including children under 13. Our website, registration system and programs are intended to be used and managed by parents and legal guardians.

Children under 13 should not submit personal information directly to Mooselax or create their own registration accounts.

A parent or legal guardian must register a child and provide any required information on the child's behalf.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 submitted personal information without appropriate parental involvement or consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Parents and guardians may contact us to:

  • Review the personal information maintained about their child;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of their child's information;
  • Revoke consent for further collection or use; or
  • Ask questions about how their child's information is handled.

We may need to verify the requesting person's identity and relationship to the player before fulfilling a request.

Certain information may need to be retained when reasonably necessary to complete a current program, maintain safety records, comply with legal or insurance obligations, resolve disputes or protect legal rights.

7. Photographs and Videos

Mooselax may photograph or record teams, practices, games, clinics or events. The use of identifiable player photographs or videos for promotional purposes will be handled in accordance with the applicable registration agreement, media release or parental consent.

Parents or guardians with questions about a specific image or recording may contact us at mooselaxlacrosseclub@gmail.com.

8. Data Retention

Mooselax retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

In general:

  • Active program records are retained while a player is participating in Mooselax programs.
  • Registration, payment, waiver, insurance and operational records may be retained for up to seven years after the applicable program, or longer when reasonably required by law, insurance obligations, dispute resolution or protection of legal rights.
  • Parent or guardian contact information used to communicate about future Mooselax opportunities may be retained until the parent or guardian opts out or requests deletion.
  • Information that is no longer reasonably necessary will be deleted, securely disposed of or de-identified, subject to technical limitations and lawful retention requirements.

A promotional opt-out does not automatically delete registration, transaction, safety or legal records. Parents and guardians may separately request deletion as described below.

9. Data Security

Mooselax uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

Access to registration and player information is limited to individuals and service providers who reasonably need the information to perform authorized responsibilities.

No website, electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, we cannot promise absolute security.

10. Cookies and Connected Services

Mooselax.com and its registration providers may use cookies and similar technologies necessary to:

  • Operate the website;
  • Maintain account sessions;
  • Process registrations;
  • Remember preferences;
  • Protect against fraud or unauthorized activity; and
  • Understand general website performance.

Browser settings may allow visitors to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent certain website or registration features from working properly.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, social-media pages or services. Mooselax is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services we do not control. Families should review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing information.

11. Access, Correction and Deletion Requests

A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information maintained by Mooselax about the parent, guardian or player.

Requests may be submitted to:

Email: mooselaxlacrosseclub@gmail.com Subject line: Privacy Request

Please include:

  • Parent or guardian name;
  • Player name;
  • Email address associated with the registration;
  • The nature of the request; and
  • The program or approximate registration date, if known.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify identity and protect the player's privacy.

We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law. Certain information may be retained when necessary to complete a transaction, provide a requested program, satisfy legal or insurance obligations, protect safety or security, or exercise or defend legal rights.

Parents may also be able to access, update or delete certain registration information directly through their LeagueApps account.

12. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where a family resides, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning personal information. These rights may include the ability to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information, or to appeal the denial of a privacy request.

Mooselax will honor applicable privacy rights as required by law. We will not discriminate against anyone for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

Because Mooselax does not sell personal information, there is no need to submit a request to opt out of a sale.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our programs, technology, service providers or legal obligations change.

The revised policy will be posted on Mooselax.com with an updated effective date. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected children's personal information, we will provide appropriate notice to parents or guardians and obtain additional consent when required.
