The Herd…’Ya Heard?
The Mooselax Lacrosse Club was founded in 2015 and since inception has had one goal in mind: to provide young athletes, and their families, with the best travel lacrosse experience possible. To achieve this goal, Mooselax has established top-level coaching staff, a competitive culture, and an environment conducive for learning the skills and concepts in order to be successful on the field. Furthermore, and most importantly, our organization prides itself on promoting the importance of team, demonstrating good sportsmanship, accountability, and being of upstanding character, both on and off the field.
At Mooselax, we support and encourage multi-sport participation throughout the year. During our fall and winter seasons, we aim to accommodate a balance of committed travel lacrosse with active play in other sports as well. For the spring/summer season we expect every member of “The Herd” to be 100% committed to the schedules set for each of our teams.
Currently, our youth lacrosse club has teams in the graduating years of 2029, 2030, 2031, 2032, 2033 (futures) & we hold clinics for our 2034 & 2035 age groups.
Each winter, all members of our travel teams have the option to enhance their development by participating in box lacrosse training through NOTB.
For beginners and developing players we offer an Academy program each fall. During these trainings our emphasis is on fundamentals, skill development and teaching lacrosse IQ. Our Academy training program is perfect for the player that is not yet ready for a full travel lacrosse experience.
We place a tremendous amount of value in teaching every member of our herd, the fundamentals of lacrosse, sportsmanship, accountability and doing all the little things the right way.
